Council Chairperson Visits Lishiko Village.

Yesterday, Kafue Town Council Chairperson Brig. Gen. Moono Simakoloyi rtd flanked by Kafue Town Council Deputy Director of Works Chopa Chota visited Lishiko Village in Lukolongo Ward to ascertain the challenges the Community is facing.

Highlighted among other issues were the absence of a Secondary School, the absence of a Clinic and the absence of Clean Drinking Water in the Community.

During his visit, the Council Chairperson also emphasized the need for the community to take the Covid 19 prevention measures seriously as the number of Corona Virus cases has spiked in the Country.

General Simakoloyi also donated 25 face masks to the community.

He ended his visit by checking on Mulala stream at the crossing point where the community suggested that the area requires a bridge as it floods during the rain season but has since dried up.
