Objective
To maximise the revenue base of the Council through investment and prudent management of financial, Human and material resources for cost effective and efficient service provision.
To prepare and maintenance of books of accounts
Preparation of management and annual accounts
Coordinate the preparation of the annual council budgets and undertake regular budget performance reviews
To manage the payroll
To maintain a fixed asset register
To maintain a register of all accountable documents
To Maintain an investment register
To ensure efficient and effective stores management
To process payments and keep up to records
Production of monthly and quarterly financial reports to standing committees
